Auriel Systems, Inc.
Eliminating Agricultural Pests with Precision Robotics and Photonics
About Auriel Systems
Auriel Systems, Inc. is a robotics startup committed to displacing the chemical pesticide industry through the use of robotics, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and photonics. Headquartered at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, we are developing a suite of autonomous drones and ground units designed to detect and eliminate agricultural pests and disease vectors without the use of harmful chemicals. Founded by Julian Poston, a computer science researcher specializing in AI, robotics, and computer vision, our mission is driven by the urgent needs of the Florida citrus industry and the global agricultural crisis caused by invasive pests.
Our innovative approach combines advanced sensor technology with precision photonic systems to provide farmers with chemical-free pest elimination and real-time crop health insights. By leveraging cutting-edge technology developed through research partnerships with the Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration, we are transforming how agriculture addresses pest management while protecting both crops and the environment.
Our Services
Precision Photonic Pest Elimination
Autonomous detection and neutralization of specific agricultural pests such as psyllids, aphids, and mosquitoes using computer vision, advanced photonics, and retina-safe CO2 lasers. Our chemical-free approach protects crops while maintaining environmental safety.
Real-Time Plant Health Monitoring
Advanced sensor systems that provide continuous data on plant health, enabling early detection of diseases and pest infestations. Optimize farm performance and reduce crop loss through actionable insights and predictive analytics.
Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) Pest Control
A flexible subscription-based model providing autonomous pest control services for high-value crops like citrus. Our drone fleet handles detection, monitoring, and elimination, allowing farmers to focus on core operations while we manage pest control.
